Vibration Pattern Demonstration Kit

The Vibration Pattern Demonstration Kit is designed to visually demonstrate the behavior of vibrating surfaces and the formation of standing wave patterns. When fine sand or salt is sprinkled on the metal plate and the plate is excited at different frequencies, the sand gathers along the nodal lines where there is no vibration, creating beautiful geometric patterns known as Chladni figures. This provides a clear and engaging way to study the relationship between vibration, frequency, and wave motion. This apparatus helps students develop a deeper understanding of wave phenomena through direct observation and hands-on experimentation.
